Oh and apparently I was picking up Friend-of-Hairy en route (only requiring a small detour down an unmade road in the dark with a flooded cattle grid) as well, and there's water everywhere and half a tree down on the Greenshields road. And I've got to go back for them later. And Handsome's just phoned to ask how the roads are, and kept saying 'really?' when I told him. Why did he bother to call if he wasn't going to believe me?
